2019 Spring Clinic

The Pittsburg State Cheerleaders will host its first College Prep Clinic on Sunday, February 24th at the Weede Athletic Building, 1701 S. Homer.

The purpose of the clinic is to prepare aspiring college or high school cheerleaders for future tryouts. Current high school and college students are invited to attend.

“The clinic is for anyone who is interested is needing to pick up more skills before their college or high school tryouts,” said Rocky Restivo, PSU Spirit Squad Assistant Coach. “They don’t necessarily have to be planning to try out for our team. We just want to reach out and help aspiring cheerleaders accomplish their goals.”

Clinic attendees will meet current PSU team members and practice stunting and tumbling with the team.

Cost for the clinic is $40 per person for those who register by Feb. 20. Same-day registration will be available for $50. The registration fee is to be mailed to Head Coach Linda Graham, 812 w. Euclid Street, Pittsburg, KS, 66762 or brought in day of. Checks should be made out to Pitt Cheer.

Those under the age of 21 must have a parent or guardian sign a liability waiver before participating in the clinic. The signed waiver should be mailed with payment. LIABILITY FORM

Registration and check-in will begin at 12:30p on Feb. 24. The stunt/tumble portion will begin at 1 p.m.
